I Could Eat THIS Breakfast EVERY Single Day

Oat Bowl

You can make this recipe for breakfast, lunch, and I’ve even had it for dinner. Everything in this bowl is in it for a specific reason. This is my go to when I want something fast, high protein, highly nutritious, and incredibly delicious. This bowl will keep you fuller longer. And it’ll keep you energized all day long. It is basically an oat bowl. If you like this recipe be sure to check out this one too! and this one!

Simmering

The bowl comes out to about 635 calories. 30 to 35 grams or protein, around 87 grams of carbs and 20 grams of fats, all good fats. The base is one cup of rolled oats, I cook the oats in water and use some sea salt for sodium balance. Let that simmer, constantly stirring for about five minutes. As far as the rest of the ingredients that are in here, I have ceylon cinnamon, for the fruit, I have blueberries and strawberries.

Ingredients

There are also a ton of little seeds and nuts in here. I’ll prepare those now. In a little bowl I add a half tablespoon ground flax seeds, half tablespoon chia seeds, half tablespoon hemp seeds, and a half tablespoon chopped pumpkin seeds. The oatmeal is done cooking, it’s hot, while it is still in the pot I’m going to add a half teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon, along with a half teaspoon of cacao powder, and a half scoop of vanilla protein powder.

Taste Test

I mix that all together then add it to my bowl. I top it with a little more than half of the seeds I have. Then I top with my chopped blueberries and strawberries and I also add around an eighth of a cup of chopped dried cranberries. Then I sprinkle on some more of the seeds on top and some crushed chopped walnuts. The last thing I add is a drizzle of natural peanut butter and a drizzle of maple syrup. This oat bowl is literally out of this world. It’s tart, sweet, crunchy and delicious! Give this bowl recipe a try! Watch the full video here!
