Is this the Ultimate Trick for better TOFU?

Is this the Ultimate Trick for better TOFU? Salt brining? curing… Does this actually work with tofu? That is the question I wanted to answer.
I know cooking tofu in a salt water solution helps create a better firmer tofu that will fry crispier than a non salt cooked tofu… BUT will a dry brine help? Will it add more flavor, how long does it take to do it.
