THIS is the RECIPE that will Change your year… or at least the contents of your fridge!! Really. ITs that good. Pickled mushrooms!

The cool thing is these are super easy to make, they last a few weeks and you can use them on everything.

These pickled mushrooms are probably my new favorite thing and I have a feeling that you will be seeing more recipes like this, this year!

Basic Pickled Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Mushrooms White button mushrooms work fine here
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar I used white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp pepper corns
  • 3 cloves ga

Instructions
 

  • Clean and place the mushrooms in a sauce pan covered in water add large pinch salt and boil for about 20 minutes
  • Remove mushrooms and save broth… its really good
  • Now in a sauce pan add the water, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper corns bring to simmer then remove from heat.
  • Add boiled mushrooms to jar or your preferred container and pour pickling broth over mushrooms, seal and let rest refrigerated over night.
