Lentil Sandwich
Something as simple as a lentil sandwich can come out really good! I added some onion, garlic, green pepper, and some carrots into a pan with some salt. Next, cooked them for a few minutes. After they cooked for a few minutes I added in one cup of washed green lentils. Then I added one and a half cups of vegetable broth, and a half cup of your favorite sauce. You can use tomato sauce, bbq sauce, but I am going to be using my sauce! Not Steak Sauce! I add it in, mix it around, and let it simmer for about twenty minutes. What is going to be left is a thick, lentil kind of sloppy joe! I toasted some bread, piled it on, added a pickle and it was so good! It came out awesome! Watch the full video here!
