Not Pork Belly Flavoring

This is just the flavoring broth I used to hydrate the Textured protein. Use Veggie Ahns recipe listed above

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Hot Water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp beet root powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp sage
  • 1/8th tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything together to hydrate 1 cup of textured protein.
  • Let rest for at least 30 minutes covered
  • Once hydrated press out remaining liquid to get better meat textured
