Don't Boil Your Corn, You'll Thank You!

A bunch of ways to cook your corn that are NOT boiling! Boiling gets rid of a lot of the nutrients in the corn!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 ears of corn
  • vegan butter
  • salt

Instructions
 

Microwave Corn

  • Toss an ear of corn with the husk still on, in the microwave, wrapped in a wet paper towel. Microwave for 5 minutes.

Grilled Corn

  • Remove the husk, coat corn in vegan butter and salt.
  • Prepare grilled with hot charcoals. Add foil pack onto grill, directly over the heat.
  • Let cook for 15 minutes but continue rotating.

Oven Roasted Corn

  • Leave the husk on but remove the corn silk.
  • Preheat the oven for 350ºf.
  • Toss the corn directly on the rack for 35 minutes.

Steamed Corn

  • Place an ear of corn (no husk) in a steamer for 7 to 10 minutes.

Grilled With Husk

  • Add to grill with husk on for 15 minutes. Continue to rotate it around so it doesn't burn.
