Ingredients

  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 jar passata
  • 1 dried chili pepper
  • olive oil
  • 6 or 7 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • pinch italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Smash your cloves of garlic. Set a few off to the side, chop the rest.
  • Chop the chili pepper as well.
  • Get three pans, one for the sauce, one for water, and one for the spaghetti.
  • In our sauce pan I add the olive oil, set it to a medium heat and then add in the chopped garlic. Allow it to simmer.
  • Add in passata, salt, Italian seasoning, stir it and bring it to a simmer.
  • In small saucepan add water and turn up the heat.
  • Now add in the olive oil and the garlic from earlier. Then the peppers and pasta.
  • Let it cook for a moment then add the sauce. Add in some water with the sauce and let it simmer.
  • Cook pasta for 22 minutes. When you see caramelization, flip it.
  • Add some more sauce and water until the pasta is cooked.
  • Plate it with a drizzle of olive oil and maybe some cheese!
