One of my favorite sandwiches when growing up WAS the Philly Cheese Steak. I’ve come up with loads of different ways to make it that all taste good, but one thing they are missing is the bite and chew of steak. (when you use beyond or impossible, its just ground beef texture NOT steak… so I wanted to solve that!
I’ve made a few Philly cheese steaks in the past, but I wanted to make this one different. One of my favorite plant based meats I’ve made is the Daikon Bacon!! It comes out meaty, has a nice bite, the texture is great and it holds onto a good favor, so I thought, why not… lets make a Philly cheese steak, but instead of steak we swap it out for the daikon radish! So here it is, my favorite sandwich, the VEGAN Philly Daikon and Cheese
