The Impossible nuggets are pretty dang good and every time I’ve tested different vegan chicken the Impossible ranks all the way at the top.. but they are pricy! So What a better nugget to see if we can make budget than the impossible nuggets! I wanted to see if we could mimic, pretty spot on the impossible nugget flavor and texture and… not to brag, but I nailed it!!

I “tricked” 10 people and they all thought Impossible Chicken was real chicken!

Now I get that all of these ingredients together come out really expensive. But once purchased you can make quite a bit of vegan meat! I just shared a video where I made the beyond burger for less than $3 a pound and I wanted to do the same thing with the impossible burger. But I needed to work on my impossible burger recipe first, see ive never nailed it. Until now.

I’ve been having fun with the eggplant steak. Ever since the Gordon Ramsay eggplant video I’ve been on a mission to make better vegan eggplant meat! So far we’ve made an eggplant burger, eggplant wellington and eggplant fish… and I even made eggplant bacon back in the day! Now lets make a sausage.. Italian style sausage out of eggplant.
This comes out juicy, spicy, and just like the Italian sausage you know, but 100% vegan.

I’ve been having a lot of fun making plant based meats using Eggplant. After the @gordonramsay Eggplant steak video I knew I wanted to keep trying to make eggplant meat better. So after eggplant fish and eggplant sandwich I decided to run with it and make an eggplant burger! a juicy meaty vegan burger made from eggplant!!

I have been wanting to try Soy Curls for a while now, but really I just always thought they were pretty much the same as TVP… WOW was I wrong!! This is my new favorite fake meat substitute. There are tons of vegan meats available now and trying to find one that works for so many dishes can be hard.. With soy curls we can get crazy!! You can make burgers, pulled sandwiches, stir fry, its endless.
Today I’m going to make an asian inspired dish, a vegan “pulled pork” sandwich, and a soy curl burger!! That last one I’m really excited about!
