Making Lewis Hamilton’s Favorite Dish Healthier for him.. I was reading about Lewis Hamilton and his diet! I’ve been really interested in reading about athletes diets considering they are commonly doing a lot of research and have a lot invested in staying healthy and fit. One thing I kept reading about was how Lewis Hamilton enjoys a plant based curry but he felt it was too fattening… so I lowered the fat and added more protein and it came out incredibly good!

I recently have been eating a LOT of apples lately and after the video where I was testing different methods to make crispy potatoes, it dawned on me that we could use the pectin in apples to make a fish texture.. SO I ran with it and I am so glad I did because this came out incredible. This vegan fish from apples is almost indistinguishable from real raw tuna!
This was my first attempt with no testing beyond what you see here, so if you have any ideas on how to make the vegan fish better make sure to let me know!

When Finding Tasty Vegan Cheese Seems *IMPOSSIBLE* MAKE IT with just 2 ingredients. You can make your own cheese base using 2 ingredients that will easily make just about any kind of cheese you want. I made this cheese base and then used it to make a super smooth and creamy cream cheese, but also used it to make 2 different mozzarella cheese.
This can be tuned and tweaked to make vegan American style cheese, or even vegan cheddar.

I recently watched a video with @JKenjiLopezAlt over on @NYTCooking (link below) of him making the “Crispiest Roast Potatoes” Then I fell down a rabbit hole of crispy roasted potato recipes and I noticed that they almost all followed the SAME Exact formula….
3 lbs potato, 2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda… Why?
Well from what I can find it started with Kenji Lopez Alt 7 years ago when he was perfecting his roasted potato recipe and it seems everyone followed.
So really I wanted to test the secrets for myself!

I’ve made baked sweet potato, air fried sweet potato, I’ve cubed them, sliced them and even diced. I’m putting sweet potato in everything lately. Today I’m going to make sweet potato tacos and sweet potato curry recipes. The sweet potato tacos I made for lunch and the sweet potato curry I made for dinner the next day. I’m trying to eat a sweet potato a day for a month (that video is coming next month) but I just wanted to show a few recipes now as im getting started.
Sweet potatoes are actually super healthy and good for you! They are loaded with fiber, b6 and potassium to name a few… but the fiber is one of the elements that really stands out for me! A whole sweet potato is pretty low in calories at around 160 calories but packs a big punch in keeping you feeling full so you get a good nutritions whole food plant based lunch or dinner while keeping it light on calories.

The Perfect Tuna Melt HAS NO TUNA… and very crunch, hot, warm, and cold… It has all the senses! I learned this from my buddy Steve over at Not Another cooking show! His tuna melt looked fantastic and sounded really good so I decided to make a vegan tuna melt out of lions mane mushrooms!
This lions mane mushroom tuna melt is perfectly melty with 0 dairy, no cheese at all, but also the bread is crunchy. The cheese bread and tomato are hot and warm while the vegan tuna is cold! It hits everything just right!

I Made REAL Boneless Wings WITH NO Wings! I just watched a video from Joshua Weissman making fried rice stuffed chicken wings and I thought I could do that vegan! We are making a simple fried rice stuff seitan! It’s going to be a nice and juicy vegan chicken stuffed with mushroom fried rice and coated in some Not Steak Sauce wing sauce combo I made!

I was pretty stoked to try this one out because I KNEW this would be a good vegan chicken and I was right!!
